Background

Dr. Ida Anjomshoaa is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She is an expert in dentoalveolar surgery with particular expertise in dental implant surgery, bone grafting and bone regeneration/reconstruction.

Education

She received her undergraduate degree, Cum Laude in General Biology, at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and her dental doctorate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ida received her specialty certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from The Brooklyn Hospital Center where she served as Chief Resident in her final year and where she continues to maintain privileges treating patients with complicated oral surgical problems.

Research

Coming from a research background, she has multiple publications in prestigious journals, such as the Journal of Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Ida continues to educate herself with the latest technology through continued education, conferences and public speaking engagements. She prides herself in keeping up to date and offering the latest advances in dental technology to her patients.

Dr. Ida is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New York Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Bayridge Dental Society . She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She diligently attends global medical conferences and collegial forums in order to keep abreast of the latest technologies and therapies within her specialty.
